Love brought Him back, after His death For 40 days He stayed with His disciples.
Love brought Him back to Heaven, Because He knew in these troubled times, We would need a comforter…..The Blessed Holy Spirit.
Now, love will bring Him back to us again.
But this time...He is going to take us back with Him.
Why? All because of love. (Paulette C.)
Jesus has been reminding us over the years, that each day we wake up, to keep looking for Him. Because He has made us a promise, and He has to fulfill it. The only problem is, He does not know exactly when He will be coming back.
Matthew 24:36 says----- But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
So our loving Saviour is still waiting for the instructions from His father. So in the meantime this is what He is asking us to do in…..Matthew 11:28-30 He says………..
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
His love for us, is still as strong, as day He went to the cross.
In Acts 1:11 Jesus said………… Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
His cry is still going out today, He is asking us to please, wait for Him.
Jesus knows, that the next time when He comes back. His only mission is to reclaim those that belongs to Him. He cannot, and will not, do anything, for anyone, this time around, and because He knows that, He is reminding us of what happened to the people in days of Noah………..
Genesis 6:5-8, 11-13
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of theLord.
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
Because of this passionate love that the Lord has for us, He is taking the time, not only warn us, but to remind us… to please, please, please be ready, and wait for Him, He will come back, but He can only take those that are ready and have been waiting.
Here in Matthew 25:1-13….He is reminding us again of what will happen if, when He returns we are still not ready.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
If you have made it to the bottom of this article and in your heart, you know you cannot find the Peace that comes only from knowing Jesus.
Then why not give Him a chance, take some time out and get to know Jesus. Then after that, honestly choose for yourself.
Would you prefer to have Jesus as your friend or the devil? The choice is ours!
John 3:16 Says….For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
