Our teenagers may act like they don't need our prayers....But they do...God is listening Parents Pray.....Pray for your children...... Help your children to stay out of trouble, find things for them to do. Don't just leave them on their own.
Her name is Reann.... She was sixteen at the time when she promised me that she could build me a website. I hesitated and after many days I thought, what do I have to lose either she can or she can't, well I am happy to report she could, and she did.
My reason for telling you all about Reann is she is just like any other teenager who will spend all day on the internet.... if allowed to.
So from my heart to the heart of many other parents...Please....Please.....Please..... don't be afraid...... or get too busy that you can't find time to talk to your kids or monitor their time on the internet.
If you find that they are addicted then pull the plug take those gadgets and maybe help them to find ways how best to use the internet to educate themselves instead of hooking up with strangers they don't even know.
There are many people out there on these Social Networking sites and as the bible states, they are like wolves in sheep clothing, just waiting to devour and destroy our children.
The truth is my heart goes out to all parents who has now become a victim of all these different Social Media. And in particular to this day there is one story that makes my heart shiver.
I will not use names or location because I did not speak directly to the parents of this deceased young girl. However, I will just give a brief description of what took place as was told to me.
Apparently this young teenage girl developed a relationship with someone online, the assumption is she let the person in the house because there was no proven sign of forced entry to the house. The father got home just to find blood drops on their carpet which led to her room.
The condition that this person left this beautiful young girl in is still unbearable for me to describe.
Apparently after raping her this individual then took a knife to her body and just cut her up...then left her exposed for her parents to see.
Last time I checked this person is still out there..They were never caught.
Every time I think about it, I can't help but wonder... How does this mom and dad make it through each day!
My deepest sincere prayer is that all parents must and should be more involved with their children regarding social media.
I am not saying that in this particular incident these parents did not council their daughter....what I also know is that most teenagers can be very stubborn and think that they are old enough and don't need parenting. Whatever the case may be....That is why I am learning to turn them over to GOD daily.
As we monitor them let's not forget to talk to them about the dangers that lurks on all social media sites.
These social Media Sites may have been created with good intentions but, another danger that I am finding, is that they have now become a permanent place where everyone and anyone can advertise once you've got the money.
Different types of dating sites are popping up all over these social sites and unfortunately our teenagers are the ones getting trapped.
Yes we have to monitor and talk to our teenagers but I have found out that my number one method is to learn each day to give them over to the Lord. If not I will have a heart attack and a nervous breakdown. : )
The bible says in all our ways if we acknowledge Him He would guide and direct our path and whatsoever we ask in His name He would do it.
Now I can't be with her 24/7, but GOD can, and I have to trust that each day that I ask the LORD to guide and protect her that He is going to do just that.
The Bible also says that we can and must take back what the enemy has stolen. This will only happen through much fasting and prayer.
One of our mission is to continue to pray for our teenagers, many of them are now hooked on the internet. We want to also pray for parents who are going through a rough time coping with the loss of their children from internet preditors.
My GOD continue bless you all....In Jesus Name. We will pray with and encourage as the LORD lead. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Click
