Real faith in God is easier to verbalize and profess than it is to live out in daily life. The challenge you face everyday is to trust God even when things are not working out the way you think they should.

1. God knows where we are: He knows our struggles and deepest fear. He knows that we need help. He is always present. He knows.
2. God always makes the first move: Are you listening and heeding to his call? 
3. God keeps His promises: God said He will never leave you or forsake you. There is a purpose for your life, just keep having faith that God has already done what He said He would do. 

God uses a variety of ways to reach out to you and to make Himself know to you. He may use a personal illness, a traffic accident or some other traumatic event to get your attention. He may even use a celebration such as a graduation party to get you thinking about the things that really matter. No matter how God speaks to you He is always trying to get your attention. Are you willing to listen?

I yearn for You, my Lord.
My soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in the desert.
Give me the living water so I shall never thirst again.
You continue to be my help in the time of trouble.
You stay closer than any brother.
You are always there for me through thick and thin.
Therefore Your praises will continue to be in my mouth.
Uphold me with Your right hand.
Protect me from the enemies that diligently seek my soul;
Cut them off from the very face of the earth.
Cover me under the shadow of Your wings.
I pray that as long as I live I will praise Your name
forever and ever.
